Sleepy...

Just when you think you have things done and wrapped up, BAM, your hit with another little task, assignment, or assigned reading. I am just so tired! I thought the semester was going to let up after we get into the schools, but that thought diminished quickly the week of orientation and my head feels like it has been spinning since. Crazy World

Hello...Wow, it is a crazy world out there! On my way home from my mom's house this evening, I was cruising down Fort Riley Blvd. 45 mph, out of no where this truck pulls out in front of me like it has the right of way. I slammed on my breaks, swerved to the left and luckily they realized they had a red light and stopped in the middle of the intersection. Otherwise...? Gotta love game days! Besides that today has been pretty lame and lazy, I haven't really gotten much homework done. I slept in this morning and then took an extra long nap this afternoon, so that was AWESOME! I am really enjoying blogging, it is fun to see comments people have left and interesting to read about other people's lives. For those of you that wanted to see pics, I posted one of Zoey when she was younger, she was so cute! Well she still is cute, but like a big dog type of cute:) I'll try to change it up a little and post some of my family and nephews, I wish you could post more than one at a time. Hello Blogging Community

Hi my name is Abbey and I am a blogger now! LOL. I never thought that I would blog, but it is a requirement for my Language Arts Methods class. Where to begin... hmmm. I am twenty-four years old and a Kansas native. I have grown up in Manhattan and wanted to move far away as soon as I graduated high school. However, here I still am six years later, the insight of travel has helped me gain appreciation for this location. Nevertheless, I still yearn to see and experience the world. I attend Kansas State University and am a senior in Elementary Education, Yea! I can not wait to get a job and be in the classroom. I live on a Buffalo Ranch with my boyfriend and our lab, Zoey (who I am sure I will be writing a lot about in the future). I have three sisters, one older and two younger, and two AWESOME nephews, Markis and Ramiro. I am very close to my family, they are my best friends. I guess that is good start to introducing myself and letting you in on a glimpse of my life. Talk to you soon!
